My name is Christen Cheevers ( Addison). I reside in Albany, Georgia. I married my best friend on May 28, 2011. I am also a proud mother of a 15 month old baby girl. I just completed my first full year of teaching. I teach second grade at a Magnet School of the Arts. I began working with small children as a teen. I volunteered as a tutor at this after school program in my neighborhood. I also volunteered at a daycare while completing my undergraduate studies.
I am new to the online learning community. I have always been in a classroom setting so I am excited about beginning something new. I learned alot from the Readiness Orientation course but there were things that life had already taught me. Being a mother and a wife has taught me time management. Being a first year teacher has taught me great study skills as well as patience. I plan to implement everything I learn in this course in my classroom
